Teaching Staff

For us, yoga is not just a practice—it’s an ongoing exploration of body and mind. The teachers at our center undergo a long and rigorous training process, one that ensures not only technical mastery but also a deep understanding of the method’s principles. Alongside the teaching staff, we have a dedicated team of assistants, allowing us to offer therapeutic classes and specialized sessions for pregnant women—fields that require precision, sensitivity, and an awareness that every movement is part of a larger whole. All of this creates a space that invites not only practice, but also learning, experimentation, and the continual discovery of what the body has to tell us.

Inga Zimbalista

Inga Zimbalista is a certified Senior Iyengar Yoga teacher (Level 3) who has been teaching Iyengar Yoga since 2000.

Her journey into yoga began in her early 20s, in the late 1980s, in the former Soviet Union. It started by chance when she came across a thin booklet about yoga. In communist Russia, such books were rare and shared only among friends.

Although movement and dance had been central to her life since childhood, the booklet transformed her understanding of the relationship between body, mind, and spirit, as well as the connection between inner and outer worlds, movement, awareness, and philosophy. She began practicing yoga using the booklet as a guide, alongside a friend who studied yoga at the Indian Embassy. This marked the start of her lifelong journey in yoga.
